9.28.25 TRUSTING THE COVENANT: All Things New
Revelation 21:1-7, Revelation 2:1-7
Dear Trinity Family & Friends,
This week’s sermon, “All Things New,” draws from Revelation 21:1–7 and 2:1–7. These passages offer both a vision of the future and a challenge for today. They remind us that the God who will one day wipe away every tear is the same God who invites us now, to return, to remain faithful, and to live with renewed purpose.
In Revelation 2, the church in Ephesus is called to remember its first love. In Revelation 21, the entire world is renewed—healed, restored, and made whole. Between those two passages is our story: a people learning to trust that God is not finished yet.
Where in your life do you need to believe again in new beginnings?
What might it look like to return to your first love for God?
This Sunday is a celebration of renewal, a reminder that no matter how broken things may seem, God is still writing the story—and the ending is one of hope.

Small Group Discussion Questions:
- Revelation 21 offers a vision of a new heaven and a new earth. What emotions or hopes does this vision stir in you?
- Revelation 2 challenges us to return to our “first love.” What practices or experiences once fueled your faith that you might need to return to now?
- Where in your life or in our world do you long to see God make “all things new”? What might trusting that promise look like?
- How does the hope of God’s future renewal shape the way you live today?
I look forward to worshiping with you as we close this season of Trusting the Covenant with joy and anticipation for what God is making new in each of us.
Blessings,
Pastor Dedric
