3.8.26 JESUS IN HIGH-RESOLUTION: Blind Spots
Luke 11:33–44, Isaiah 1:10–20
Dear Trinity Family & Friends,
By now, we’ve talked about seeing the light and naming where our vision feels blurred. This Sunday, Jesus turns the lens inward. Blind spots are rarely intentional. Most of the time, they are places where we feel most confident and places where we assume we see clearly. And yet, Jesus reminds us that even religious devotion can become misaligned when we stop examining our hearts.
In Luke 11, Jesus speaks not to outsiders, but to faithful people. He challenges the gap between outward practice and inward transformation. It is a hard word, but it is a loving one. Lent is not about shame. It is about alignment. It is about allowing Christ’s light to reach places we didn’t realize needed healing.
In our small group lesson this week, we’ll reflect on how our faith practices shape us and how humility keeps our vision clear.

I look forward to worshiping with you as we allow Jesus to examine us with grace and truth.
Blessings,
Pastor Carrie
