Our new sermon series “What We Value” continues this week with an examination of love, as found in the scriptures.

The word “love” means many different things to many different people. At Trinity, it is the first value that we name and try to live out. What does the word “love” mean to you? How do you love others, and how have others loved you?

In this week’s sermon, we will dive into 1 Peter 4:7-11 and Hosea 11:1-4. Take heart! These are not simple, sappy verses on the ease of love. Rather, they take a hard look at the true cost of loving other people - who are hard to love sometimes!

I look forward to exploring these verses with you in both services Sunday. Let’s remember the first part of our vision statement: inviting ALL to gather in LOVE!
