3.29.26 JESUS IN HIGH-RESOLUTION: Seeing the King Clearly - PALM SUNDAY
Rev. Dr. Dedric Cowser • March 23, 2026
Luke 19:28–44, Isaiah 52:7–10
Dear Trinity Family & Friends,
Palm Sunday is loud with praise, but Luke tells the story with tears. The crowd sees Jesus clearly enough to call him King. But they do not yet understand the kind of king he is. He does not enter with force. He does not seize power. He does not silence opposition. He weeps. It is possible to worship Jesus and still misunderstand him.
This final Lenten small group lesson will help us examine how we define power, peace, and victory, and whether we are prepared to follow a King whose authority is shaped by humility and sacrifice.
