Worship Leader Cappuccino & Christ Contemporary Service

Trinity United Methodist Church is seeking a full time Worship Leader for the Cappuccino & Christ Worship service. The Worship Leader will act as a liaison with the bands and clergy/program staff.

The Worship Leader will be responsible for planning the services in conjunction with the Cappuccino &Christ Worship planning team. The Director of Worship and Fine Arts will be their supervisor.

Worship Leader duties include:

·         Worship leader/song leader/instrumentalist for Cappuccino & Christ

·         Help the congregation to grow spiritually through the use of music/video/drama

·         Promote involvement in the worship service through congregational singing and active participation

·         Weekly preparation of C&C worship service with focus on overall structure of the service in regards to the sermon/scripture/prayer/music/video/drama

·         Research new materials for drama, video, songs including license, copyright

·         Administrative duties include but are not limited to preparation of song sheets, CD’s, maintenance of copyright license and song/video/drama license

·         Supervise volunteers involved in music/video presentations/speakers/dramas

·         Preparation of special services including Advent, Christmas, Holy Week, and any other special services as determined by the Worship Planning team

·         Recruitment of volunteers to be actively involved in worship

·         Work with the Rehearsal Director in preparation of services

·         Work with Technical Director for lighting, sounds, video needs

·         Support small group ministries
