DISCIPLE I Becoming Disciples through Bible Study,
covers the entire Bible chronologically following the complete story of
the relationship between God and us. Transformation happens through
learning the 34Marks of Discipleship as we are ask “What is God saying
to me?” And over time, we form closer bonds with one another and find
community.
DISCIPLE
III Remember Who You Are by singling out the Old Testament
Prophets and the Letters of Paul for closer scrutiny, this study examines
what it means to be the people of God. Christian
Believer focuses specifically on church beliefs, helping
participants understand the symbols of the church, the language of the
church, and the doctrines found in familiar church hymns. We will examine
the writings of ancient and modern Christian commentators, and view video
presentations by leading Bible scholars, church historians, and preachers. Jesus
in the Gospels examines the different portrayals of the most
important events and teachings from the life of Jesus, found in the four
Gospels. We will encounter a Jesus who is hard to ignore, and hard to
control, a commanding and morally compelling figure who is our lord and
savior. Contact Joy Shackelford for
