We are conveniently located in Southeast Huntsville, in the heart of one of the city’s most active areas. We serve families in our neighborhood as well as surrounding communities and look forward to having you join us.

Service Times

8:15 - 8:45 am: The Gathering Simple service in Sanctuary (front of campus). Weekly communion, everyone welcome.

8:45 – 9:45 am: Childcare and Sunday School for all ages.

10 - 11 am: Children's Church 4 years old – 1st grade enjoy a Mini-message, Bible story movie, crafts, games and more! Join us in “The Garden” Room 173. (Childcare available for 3 years old and younger on Children’s Hallway.)

10 - 11 am: Cappuccino & Christ Worship with the C&C Band and a vibrant message in our back campus auditorium. Enjoy a cup of Cappuccino or coffee to enjoy during the service. Everyone welcome!

10 - 11 am: Traditional Traditional
With historic, sacred symbols and liturgy, worship in a traditional setting with beautiful stained glass, organ music and choir. Everyone welcome.

20/30 Bible Fellowship Group . 9 am . Room 232

For young adult singles and couples (think early 20’s-age 35) and you may join us at any time. Led by Debbi and Tony Akers. For information, contact Tony Akers Director of Disciple Life at or 256.489.7460.

College Sunday School . 9 am . Room 220 (Youth Wing)

We will spend the summer discussing the book Love Does by Bob Goff. We think you will love this study!  Contact Tony Akers, Director of Disciple Life, 256.489.7460.

Companeros de Christo . 8:45 am . Room 122

This Spanish-speaking class enjoys Bible studies. Partners with the CrossTalk class on the first Sunday of each month.

Cross Talk . 9 am . Room 250

Led by Dr. David Barnhart, young couples and singles discuss weekly sermon topics and current issues. Partners with the Companeros de Christo class on the first Sunday of each month. Find them on Facebook!

Life in Christ . 8:45 am . Room 191

Led by teaching team, young couples and singles discuss Bible issues and societal issues.

The Rest of the Week

College Age End of Summer Retreat . July 27 - 29
Nantahala Outdoor Center

We head to Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City, North Carolina for a time of rafting and inspiration in the great outdoors.

Depart: Thursday, July 27. 11 am from back parking lot. (Bring a lunch to eat on the road)
Return: Saturday, July 29. Noon-ish.

Breakfast, lunch, waters, soda, some snacks and lodging provided by Disciple Life College Ministry.

What to pack:
  • Sleeping bag or sheets and blanket (Twin)
  • Pillow
  • Casual clothes
  • Toiletries
  • Towel
  • Any medication
  • Sunscreen
  • For rafting - Guys: Swim trunks and t-shirt. Gals: Swim suit with t-shirt/shorts. Shoes that can get wet like old sneakers or Chacos
  • Cash for rafting ($40)
  • Cash for Thursday night and Friday night meals at Rivers End Restaurant
What to expect:

Thursday: Travel, settle in at Nantahala Outdoor Center (air conditioned cabins), eat supper at Rivers End, hang, evening devotions.
Friday: Morning devotions, breakfast, raft early, lunch together, hang/nap/wade/shop, supper at Rivers End, evening devos.
Saturday: Breakfast and depart

The Nanatahala Outdoor Center is a cool place. https://noc.com/ They have a snack bar, restaurants, and cool shops. You may want to bring money for there as well.

Discovery Weekend College Team . August 4 - 6

Want to serve on the Discovery Weekend team before returning to class? College students play a vital role in the success of our youth ministry kick-off event that we call Discovery Weekend. Common roles are leading small groups and serving as overnight leaders. Discovery Weekend one of the highlight events for our church each year. If you would like to serve, contact our Youth Pastor, Becca Bibee.

 We are taking a break for summer. Check back in the fall! Are you single or a single parent? Looking for a gathering of others walking on a faith journey? Singles Coffee House is for you! Light refreshments provided, and all are welcome.
