Liturgical Dancing, Something New? |

It was, in 1971, if you were a member of Trinity. People were
skeptical back then about such activity performed in the Sanctuary.
But Kim Manning, a high school teenager and member of Trinity's
youth group, thrilled the congregation that Sunday morning she performed Trinity's first liturgical dance. Her graceful movements to the church music and scripture sold the congregation on liturgical dancing. She performed many times at worship services before leaving Huntsville to pursue her dancing career. She later became a professional dancer and dance teacher. |
