Committee on Lay Leadership The Leadership Selection & Development Committee is responsible for identifying, developing, deploying, evaluating, and monitoring the spiritual leadership of the congregation. Members study the spiritual basis for leadership in preparation for their work, which includes setting criteria for lay leadership in the congregation and recommending a slate of leaders for election as church officers. The Senior Pastor chairs this committee, and members serve three-year terms, in classes of three each.  The committee meets approximately five times during the year, as scheduled by the Senior pastor
