Coming Up

Throughout the Year

Converge!
Sunday Night Youth Group - STARTS AUGUST 21!

Converge [ken vurj]

1.    meet:  to reach the same point coming from different directions
2.    arrive at same destination:  to gather or meet at the same destination
3.    to become gradually less different
4.    the place to be for Trinity Youth grades 6-12!

Converge is our Sunday night youth group gathering for Middle and High school students.  We meet almost every Sunday Night from 5:30-8:00 p.m. for bible study, worship, mission and fun!  Students meet in their age groups for discussion and together for worship and games.

We begin with snack supper, supplied by parents. This meal is free to all our youth - a great blessing!  This year our meal organizers Janna Kucera and Julie Patton have planned our meals and attached names to the meals themselves. Please take a look at the meal schedule and see where they have put you.  You only need to help one time per year per youth that attends! That is a pretty good deal!

Save Sunday nights for Converge…you’ll be glad you did!

Check out the Calendar of Events for our schedule!

High School Mission Trip
Washington DC
June 30 - July 7
Current Grades 8-12

Trinity Youth mission focus this year is feeding others who might be experiencing stress regarding the availability of food. Our D.C. trip will partner with the Center for Student Missions, an organization which connects youth groups with the needs of the inner city poor.
Some of our experiences will include the following:

  • So Others Might Eat (S.O.M.E.) serves breakfast and lunch seven days per week to 500-1,000 persons.  S.O.M.E. also provides medical and social services to Washington’s poorest of the poor. We will help with food preparation and distribution.
  • Martha’s Table runs both a day care center for poor moms as well as a kitchen that prepares food for McKenna’s Wagon, a food-for-homeless program on wheels. McKenna’s vans distribute food to five different locations in D.C. Our group will help in the day care and kitchen at Martha’s Table.
  • Bread for the City provides vulnerable residents of Washington, DC, with comprehensive services, including food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Our group will help in the pantry and other daily needs.

Our free day will be July 4th and we will participate in Independence Day activities and fireworks on “The Mall”!

Fee:  $225.  Spots are first com-first served.  Deposit of $5 will hold your spot now.
