Habitat for Humanity

Building with the Carpenter

Trinity has been involved annually with Habitat for Humanity since 1993. Since that time, Trinity teams have completed 23 new homes and one house rehab. Our most recent home was dedicated in June 2012.

2013 Habitat Build

Join us as we build a new, six-bedroom house for a grandmother, her four grandchildren, and two foster children.  Their previous home was destroyed by tornadoes – and this new one will be complete in just under 3 months!

Individuals, families and small groups are encouraged to get involved, contact Team Co-Leader Barry Guynes, baguynes@comcast.net for specific details!

What's Happening?

How Can You Encourage An Under-Resourced, Single Mom?

If you do not have a car, then how do you schedule Dr.'s appointments for your kids, counseling appointments to deal with your clinical depression, parent-teacher conferences, etc.?  How do you cook healthy food for your children by purchasing only what you can carry from your walk to the corner convenience market?  What if you are offered a job...finally... but cannot take it due to a bus schedule that does not match up with the work schedule?

You can bring hope to these moms by simply committing  to drive on a regular basis, or on an "on-call" basis.  How hard is it to run a mom to the grocery store?  Yet, God can use you in this way to bring HOPE to a family.

Are you called to serve Him by offering to drive?
