A Candler School of Theology and Trinity Evangelical Theological Seminary graduate, Dr. Page is married to the former Judy Kay Halfacre of Chattanooga, Tennessee. They have 3 children and seven grandchildren.

As an expert in the field of excavation, his projects include:

  • Work on projects at Tel Arad, Beer Sheva, Kar Karkom (Mt. Sinai), Beth Shean, Bethsaida (Associate Director), the Holy Sepulchre Church in Jerusalem, the Tomb of the Kings and in Jordan
  • Former Associate Director of the Bethsaida Excavation in Galilee.
  • Director of Kursi Excavation fall, 2000/2001 to present.
  • Director of Capernaum Excavation (Greek Orthodox Capernaum excavations to resume in 2010

Professionally he served and serves as:

  • Adjunct Faculty Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies from 1987-1989
  • Since 1989 Academic Dean/Professor of Biblical Studies Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies Jerusalem, Israel

Author of eight books and numerous articles in journals and publications in the US, Europe, and the Middle East, Dr. Page’s books will be on sale during the Academy.
