We are a ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church, and a DHR licensed facility that offers full-day preschool care in service to the community. Our goal is to provide Christian childcare in a safe, caring and educational environment with a focus on the spiritual, social, physical, mental, and emotional development of each child.
What Ages Do You Accept?
The CDC offers care for children ages six weeks through Five years. Activities for school-aged children are also available during the summer as part of our Camp Trinity program.
What Does Your Program Offer?
We offer a wide variety of activities for the varied age groups we serve including pre-emergent speaking classes and American Sign Language to help facilitate language development. We use Pinnacle Curriculum. This material provides the foundational basis for reading, language and number readiness skills required for children entering Kindergarten. The Christian educational aspect it provides our children with a spiritual foundation as they continue on their journey of faith. Weekly themes are assigned to every age level, allowing for numerous opportunities for children to participate in arts and crafts, center activities and dramatic play. We have two outdoor play areas with age appropriate equipment and a full gym for inclement weather days.
All ratios in our classes are below those required by DHR. Small class sizes allow us to interact more intimately with our children and their families. We follow the United Methodist Child Protection Policy with two teachers assigned to each age group. All adults employed to work with our children are screened with a national criminal background check.
How Can I Sign Up?
Enrollment for returning families traditionally occurs in March and open enrollment starts the first week of April. Call us to check availability--- we'd love for you to be part of our family!
How Can I Help the CDC?
Monetary donations can be made to help fund families in crisis with their CDC tuition. To help, please contact Judy Holcomb at 883-3200 ext 293. Share your faith with our children by providing supplies, games and toys or by giving your time through playground and classroom renovation, painting, or by building home living furniture.
