The organized unit of the United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Special events organized by the Trinity UMW include a brunch and fashion show in the Spring for all ladies of Trinity, host the UMW District Prayer Breakfast in March, sponsor a spiritual retreat in the Fall for all ladies of Trinity and their friends, celebrate UMW on UMW Sunday and celebrate Christmas together with a dinner in Wesley Hall with members bringing toys for the children in the Upper Sand Mountain Parish. UMW members are also supportive to the children at Seminole Service Center by furnishing Easter baskets, Halloween candy and prizes for games and sending hats, gloves and socks at Christmastime.
UMW raises extra mission money by serving wedding receptions and other receptions; i.e., anniversary, birthday, retirement, etc.
All of the women of Trinity are invited and encouraged to attend a circle meeting soon! Trinity United Methodist Women meet during the school year.
